An overview of regions and cities with-in the global climate change process
A perspective for the future - Study
This report will provide an overview of the process that lead to the Paris Agreement, highlighting the main achievements for local and subnational governments. It will provide an account of the opportunities ahead for these actors to raise their level of participation in the climate negotiations process. Upcoming funding and engagement opportunities will also be highlighted, together with a set of recommendations on the requests by cities and regions and on the next steps towards COP 22.
