Study of the ESF-Intervention, its set-up and impact in Germany
Summary
Publication metadata
In the programming period 2014-2020, the Federal Republic of Germany will again be allocated a share of the European Social Fund’s (ESF) budget in order to support the goals of the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. The European Commission’s General Directorate for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion mandated this study to analyse the ESF’s specific contribution to the promotion of employment opportunities, education and social inclusion in Germany, based on the experience in the 2007-2013 programming period. So far, there is no overall evaluation of... Germany’s ESF interventions between 2007 and 2013 that would have allowed for comprehensive conclusions for the future configuration of the ESF, based on experience of the on-going programming period.
