Big data for monitoring educational systems
What happens when data collection used for monitoring of educational systems enters the age of Big Data? Today we see the contours of digital solutions which can collect vast amount of individually created data, link them to register data and other sources and aggregate and process them instantly. This report explores possible consequences for education on the topics of students' privacy, educational equity and efficiency, student tracking, the future of assessment and the development of skills.
