The specific objectives of this study are to: provide an overview of the market of online hotel reviews in the EU; analyse current practices on hotel booking and review websites in all EU Member States; provide an overview of measures taken to address fake reviews and the misleading use of reviews; gather feedback on the study findings at a workshop; and report on the results of the study and the workshop.
