Creative strategies of young people in disadvantaged circumstances
What do children and young people think about education? Possible answers to this question are elaborated in this book, which portrays and illustrates how young people from different European countries view and experience education. The book is based on a collection of essays that students were asked to write as part of an international research project funded by the European Commission’s 7th Framework Programme. The project “Governance of Educational Trajectories in Europe (GOETE)” analysed who is involved in making decisions that concern the school careers of young people.
