What does the EU mean for us, students?
For most students in the United Kingdom the European Union means Erasmus and student exchanges. From 1 January 2014 Erasmus has been re-branded as Erasmus+. It now covers all European Union (EU) schemes for foreign study and work exchanges. The aim is to make it easier for more students in the United Kingdom to study or work abroad. The EU has made a lot more money available over the next 7 years and included language learning in all schemes.
