Urban heritage : building maintenance : final report
COST Action C5, 'Urban heritage - Building maintenance' was launched in February 1996 and gathered 38 members representing 15 of the 34 COST member countries. The main objective of this action, relevant to the urban civil engineering domain of COST, has been the definition at european level of evaluation criteria for determining the historical importance of buildings and neighbourhoods in our towns and cities and the effectiveness of methods and techniques used in preservation work. The present publication of the final report of the Action contains the scientific work provided by COST Action... C5 and consists of seven parts : - summary report ; - criteria and current methods of evaluation ; - framework evaluation criteria ; - inspection and diagnosis ; - methods and techniques of rehabilitation ; - international contacts and cooperation ; - lime technologies.
