  The Creative Europe Culture sub-programme is achieving its objectives after 4 years in operation: 1500 organisations are collaborating via more than 280 small or larger-scale cooperation projects which cover all culture and artistic creation sectors; more than 4000 professionals are connected through 33 pan-European networks; 23 new platforms have been created to accelerate emerging artist’s careers and bring the public closer to them; more than 200 publishers have been supported to translate and promote almost 1400 European books. The 4 funding mechanisms, Cooperation Projects, Platforms, Networks and Literary Translation Projects, are complementary and are producing benefits for both professionals and the general public : thousands of artists have so far been or are currently being supported and thousands of cultural experts and workers have so far participated or are currently participating in projects; it is estimated that well over 100 million people across Europe have so far been or are currently involved in projects or are watching these projects as an audience.
