Negotiated procedures

AO 10619 - Comparative study of XML mark-up models suitable for general publications produced by the Publications Office and of Word-based editorial/XML conversion tools and of InDesign-based automated layouting tools to be used in the production process

The Publications Office intends to launch at the end of July 2014, a low-value negotiated procedure to select one (1) economic operator to carry out a comparative study of XML mark-up models suitable for general publications produced by the Publications Office, followed by a comparative study of Word-based editorial / XML conversion tools and of InDesign-based automated layouting tools to be used in the production process of these publications.
This is a negotiated low-value procedure with participation of at least three (3) tenderers. The maximum value of this procedure is EUR 60,000. Any tender exceeding this value will automatically be rejected. Companies wishing to participate in the negotiated procedure shall notify their intention by sending 5 working days after publication an e-mail at the following address: op-appels-offres@publications.europa.eu. In the attachment to the above-mentioned e-mail a description of the company's and its experience with regards to the requested services up to maximum five (5) pages shall be provided. Please note that this indicative information is not binding on the Commission, and thus the Commission is not obliged to launch the negotiated procedure in question.  (22/07/2014)
