Since the Committee unreservedly endorses the content of the proposal and has already set out its views on the subject in its earlier opinions, namely SOC/597 — European Social Fund+, adopted on 17 October 2018, ECO/462 — Regulation on the European Regional Development Fund and Cohesion Fund, adopted on 17 October 2018, and also in its position papers SOC/651 — Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD)/COVID-19 Crisis, ECO/517 — COVID-19: European Structural and Investment Funds — Exceptional flexibility, it decided, at its 568th plenary session of 23 and 24 March 2022 (meeting of 23 March 2022), by 199 votes, with no votes against and 6 abstentions, to issue an opinion endorsing the proposed text and to refer to the position it had taken in the above-mentioned documents.
