Explanatory Notes to the Combined Nomenclature of the European Union
(2022/C 497/01)
Pursuant to Article 9(1)(a) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 (1), the Explanatory Notes to the Combined Nomenclature of the European Union (2) are hereby amended as follows:
On page 123, after the Explanatory note to CN subheading ‘2621 10 00 Ash and residues from the incineration of municipal waste’, the following text is inserted:

Other This subheading does not include cenospheres, hollow spheres mainly consisting of aluminosilicate, which are a specific lightweight component isolated from fly ash obtained (generally) by the burning of coal in thermal power plants (heading 6806 ).’ |
On page 283, in the Explanatory note to CN subheading ‘6806 20 90 Other’ , the following new item 4. is inserted:
