having regard to the draft Council decision (11119/2012), |

having regard to the draft Protocol setting out the fishing opportunities and financial contribution provided for in the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Community and the Government of Denmark and the Government of Greenland (11116/2012), |

having regard to the request for consent submitted by the Council in accordance with Article 43(2) and Article 218(6), second subparagraph, point (a), of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (C7-0299/2012), |

— |
having regard to Rules 81 and 90(7) of its Rules of Procedure, |
|
— |
having regard to the recommendation of the Committee on Fisheries and the opinions of the Committee on Development and the Committee on Budgets (A7-0358/2012), |

Consents to conclusion of the Protocol; |
|

Requests the Commission to forward to it the conclusions of the meetings and proceedings of the Joint Committee provided for in Article 10 of the Fisheries Partnership Agreement; calls for representatives of Parliament, acting as observers, to be given the opportunity to attend meetings and proceedings of the Joint Committee; calls on the Commission to submit a review of the implementation of the Agreement to Parliament and the Council in the final year of application of the Protocol, before negotiations are opened on the renewal of the Agreement; |

Instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the governments and parliaments of the Member States and of Greenland. |
