DECISION No 2/2011 OF THE ACP-EU COMMITTEE OF AMBASSADORS
of 16 March 2011
appointing members to the Executive Board of the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA)

THE ACP-EU COMMITTEE OF AMBASSADORS,
Having regard to the Partnership Agreement between the members of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (the ACP) of the one part, and the European Community and its Member States, of the other part, signed in Cotonou (Benin) on 23 June 2000 (1), as first amended in Luxembourg on 25 June 2005 (2) and as revised by the Agreement amending for the second time the said ACP-EC Partnership Agreement, signed in Ouagadougou on 22 June 2010 (3), and in particular Article 3(5) of Annex III thereto,
Whereas:

By Decision No 3/2008 of 22 May 2008, the ACP-EC Committee of Ambassadors appointed the members of the Executive Board of the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (three EU members and three ACP members) for a five-year term of office, subject to review after two and a half years in the case of the members coming from ACP countries. |

By Decision No 5/2010 of 26 July 2010 (4), a new member was appointed, one ACP post having fallen vacant. |

After reviewing its composition, the ACP States have expressed their intention to reconstitute the ACP membership of that Board as of 24 February 2011 for the remainder of the current term of office and have nominated two new candidates. |

It is therefore necessary to appoint two new members of the Executive Board, |
HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1
The following are hereby appointed members of the Executive Board of the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation in place of Dr Wilson A. SONGA and Prof. Radjiskumar MOHAN:

Article 2
Consequently, for the remainder of the current term of office, ending on 21 May 2013, the CTA’s Executive Board shall be composed as follows:
