1. What personal information do we collect, for what purpose and through which technical means?

The information is collected in order to respond to your information requests sent by e-mail to info@publications.europa.eu

2. Who has access to your information and to whom is it disclosed?

Your information is accessible to the Publications Office services responsible for the receipt, processing of and response to all requests received by e-mail. Only the officials and staff carrying out the processing of your request have access to your data.

For all subscription requests, your data — name, first name and postal address — is added to a mailing list database managed by the Publications Office. This data is also accessible to the staff responsible for the dispatch of the publications you have subscribed to.

Each mailing list for each publication is managed by the service responsible for the publication. With the aim of better distributing information on EU policies and activities, these mailing lists may be used by other services of the European Union institutions, agencies or other bodies following the written permission of the service managing the mailing list in question.

At any given moment you can ask to be deleted from any mailing list managed by the Publications Office. Please contact info@publications.europa.eu in order to do so.

3. How do we protect and safeguard your information?

Designated Publications Office officials can access the data using a user ID and a password. Only these authorised officials have access to the data (using a specific system).

4. How can you verify, modify or delete your information?

Please contact info@publications.europa.eu

5. How long do we keep your data?

In order to respond to your information requests sent by e-mail to info@publications.europa.eu, all data received is stored for a maximum of two years.

In order to respond to your subscription requests, the data is kept in the mailing list database until the person cancels the subscription in question.

At any given moment you can ask to be deleted from any mailing list managed by the Publications Office. Please contact info@publications.europa.eu in order to do so.
