European cycling lexicon The lexicon contains key terms for cycling, cycling infrastructure and different types of cycles for different transport needs in 27 languages, including all 23 official languages of the EU.

The Schengen area Schengen measures provide for the abolition of controls at the internal borders of the Schengen Member States, establish common rules on checks at the external frontiers, provide for a common visa policy and introduce accompanying measures which enable the lifting of the internal border checks (in particular in the field of police and judicial cooperation in criminal matters). These rules have thus direct implications for citizens in the area of free movement of people.
