Film contest of the Publications Office of the European Union for the online services EU Bookshop and Ted
‘Lights, camera, action!’ was the name of the film contest launched by the Publications Office to call on the creativity and technical skills of students for the production of short and entertaining promotional films on two of its online services: EU Bookshop and TED.
The contest was open to all schools, colleges and universities in the EU and EEA and targeted students in communication and multimedia.
A total of 50 films were received for the EU Bookshop and TED film contest, most of them for EU Bookshop. Films came from 14 EU Member States: Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Spain, France, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia and Finland.
Martine Reicherts, Director-General of the Publications Office, awarded prizes to the winning student film-makers at the Maison de l’Europe in Luxembourg.
